Presentation: Yellow solution

Class: Phosphodiesterase inhibitor

Action: Competitive inhibition, PDE111

Use: Inotrope, vasodilation, congestive cardiac failure

Dose: Loading dose 0.5 - 1 mg/kg

5 -  20 mcg/kg/min

Route: IV

Onset: 2- 5 minutes.

Complications: Vasodilation, arrhythmias

Elimination: Metabolised in liver
